Spring Cleaning

Spring is here and it’s time to clean up your act! A great way to flourish this season is to remove all of the excess clutter from your life and aim to simplify. We’re here to help with 3 go-to lifehacks that will lessen stress and let you blossom. Here’s how we declutter here at Be Social:

  • In the workplace: Start by taking a look at your workspace. If your work-space is messy, your focus is off and your ability to be a kick ass employee suffers. Begin by throwing out any old papers, coffee cups, etc. Next, try getting a stylish binder to store loose papers and files in to clean up and brighten up the space! Once your workplace is cleared, add a little life with a trendy succulent or a desert terrarium. With a clean and organized space, you’ll feel v motivated to make major moves this spring.
  • In your home: Your home should be your happy place, but if it’s overflowing with unnecessary objects, it can be pretty hard to sit back and relax. Start by going through each room. Raid your pantry and fridge to get rid of expired or unidentifiable foods. Next, the bedroom. Take a glance at your closet. Are you really going to wear that hollister tank from 8th grade? If you haven’t worn it in the last 2 years, donation pile it goes! Next, venture into the bathroom. We know we know, how can you declutter when all of your makeup, haircare, and styling tools are all so v necessary? Easy. Try investing in beauty products that serve multiple purposes so you need way less (we recommend Briogeo’s Rosarco Milk or DDR Mask for ultimate hair care).
  • In your life: The stresses of everyday life can be extremely overbearing. We think the best way to declutter your life is to stop overcommitting to others and commit more to yourself. Most of the day your time is devoted to every need but your own and we think it’s time to treat yo self. Whether its binge watching the bachelor (or bachelorette) on Monday nights or taking that extra bubbly bubble bath, spending more time on you will instantly melt away extra stress.

Less is more, babes!
